Rev. Scott Morrow Senior Minister E-Mail the Senior Minister Scott grew up in Wilmington, Delaware and Houston, Texas. In his early years he belonged to the Presbyterian Church; then, as a student at Earlham College he worshiped with the Quakers. He graduated from Yale Divinity School in 1989. He served his first parish in Orange, CT for five years; then came to the North Haven Congregational Church in the Fall of 1994. He enjoys gardening, folk dancing, tennis and watching his kids play soccer. |

Brian Jones Music Director E-Mail the Music Director Brian Jones currently resides in Naugatuck, CT. He received his B.A. in Vocal Performance from Central Connecticut State University, while on scholarship with the University Singers. He studied voice with Maksim Ivanov, Craig Hart, and Joanne Scattergood, while also studying conducting under Dr. Pam Perry, and toured with CCSU’s University Singers in China as a singer and guest conductor. He has been a finalist in the NATS (National Association for Teachers of Singing) competition for the Connecticut chapter, and has sung in two National ACDA Honor Choirs in Oklahoma City and Chicago. For the last three years, he has been a section leader and soloist at Asylum Hill Congregational Church, along with being a director of the Children’s choir and member of the Hand Bell Choir. He is also the director of the Hartford Public High School Show Choir, the assistant conductor for the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Chorus in New London, and a vocalist in the local professional choir, Voce. |

Gary Snowbeck Organist E-Mail the Organist Gary Snowbeck began his organ studies at age ten and at thirteen was appointed organist at his home church, Faith Lutheran, in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. Upon graduating from high school Gary attended Valparaiso University, where he was a student of Philip Gehring. Subsequently he attended the University of Minnesota, where he studied with Nancy Lancaster and Heinrich Fleischer, earning a B.F.A. in organ performance in 1978. Upon graduation, he remained at the University of Minnesota an additional year studying orchestration with Dominick Argento. He also studied hymn improvisation with Paul Manz at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. |
