SpringBoox 2010 News

Books have become part of our history here at NHCC. The Council has approved April 23 & 24, 2010, as appropriate dates for our next Springboox sale! Not only will we celebrate the tenth year of the 21st century, but we also will celebrate the tenth year of our expertise in selling books! Yes, 2001 was our starting point and we have been expanding ever since with profits starting at $800, growing to about $4,100 this past year.

We will come to your home to pack up books you no longer have need for and give you a receipt suitable for tax purposes. The only volumes we cannot accept are old textbooks, condensed books, and encyclopedias. The sale will include books on tape or CDs, large print books and, of course, endless paperbacks.

We estimate that last year we shelved about 15,000 books and anticipate the same number again this year. Hard covers are sorted into 45 categories for easy viewing. Each year we have had a large supply of children’s books and we expect that pattern to continue.
